We fix, not just replace.

The Lost Art of Fixing

Not everything that breaks needs to be replaced.

Somewhere along the way, HVAC service became a little too focused on selling new equipment and a little less focused on understanding the systems and units already in your home.

Cardon still believes in fixing things.

When your air conditioner or heating system stops working, our first question isn't “How quickly can we replace it?” It's “What's actually wrong with it?” That's what the competition does.

Replace Only When It Makes Sense.

  • Diagnose the real problem: not just what is appears to be.
  • Repair when repair makes financial sense: because a failed component doesn't necessarily mean a failed system. We aren't about just coming up with the biggest bill for the customer.
  • We explain your options: including the expected life and cost of a repair.
  • Recommend replacement when it's warranted: not simply because your equipment has some years on it. No supplier or manufacturer is going to pressure us to move units.
  • Give you an informed choice: it's your home and your money.

There’s Still Value in Knowing How Things Work.

  • HVAC systems are machines. Machines have motors, capacitors, controls, coils, valves, electrical components, refrigerant circuits, and dozens of other parts that can wear out or fail.

Knowing which part failed, and why it failed is the difference between a technician and a salesperson.

Our expert technicians take the time to troubleshoot the system, identify the underlying problem, and determine whether it can be reasonably repaired. Sometimes the right answer is a straightforward fix. Sometimes continued repairs would only throw good money after bad, and replacement is the smarter investment.

Either way, you deserve to know the difference.

We Would Love To Earn Your Business!

Your System Doesn't Have an Expiration Date.

Age matters, but age alone doesn't tell the whole story.

A well-maintained system that's been properly installed may have plenty of useful life remaining. That's why we look at the condition of the equipment, its repair history, efficiency, performance, and the cost of the proposed repair before recommending replacement.

We're not interested in replacing equipment simply because it's old.

If we can fix it, we'll tell you. If it's time to replace it, we'll tell you that too.

Old-School Service.

Technology has changed. Equipment has changed. The principle hasn't.

Find the problem. Fix what can be fixed. Replace what needs to be replaced. And give the homeowner an honest answer.

It shouldn't be a novel approach to HVAC service.

But these days, it kind of is. And we at Cardon are proud of our old-school service.
